It really annoys me that parents/tutors/teachers whatever are always like ‘what are you going to do with your life?’

Have they not thought that maybe there’s more to life than knowing which job you want to have? When someone asks me what I’m going to do with my life, I just think of people I want to spend it with and places I want to go. I’d rather spend my life having fun with people I love, and experiencing things rather than working all the time to get higher up in a job. Money’s really not everything and I personally would hate to be working like 14 hours a day trying to get a promotion or work my way up to a position where you’ll have to be working so much more anyway. There really is more to life. You should work to live, not live to work.
